We have started cleaning the carnival shooting gallery. We hired a young man who needed work and told him about the racoon poop upfront, he said he was game. A few minutes after starting the clean up he came and said you need to see this! Well, we were wrong about the racoon poop. We are removed over 2000 pounds of what we believe is graphite that was used in making the gallery rounds. The 22 short head ( which is usually made of lead) was made of graphite that was glued together so that it would disintegrate when it hit the target. Moisture must have make it hard again because we are having to use an air chipping hammer to get it out. The heavy metal on the back of the game was bolted on and the rusty bolts had to be cut off. This gave us a way to get into the game to clean it. More after we get some more cleaning done.
